well i caught some of Xbox and PS3. xbox had Halo 4 and a new tech called SmartGlass and that's about it, the rest was shit. PS3 talked about vita and the vita/PS3 connectivity and then showed some exclusives like last of us, a new game called beyond or somethin (by the heavy rain people), playstation all stars and others.

other than that lots of good looking games showed: last of us, beyond, watch dogs, assassins creed, halo 4, etc etc

pretty much this is a down year as the only demoed new console is the Wii U and that has very little to be excited about, for the most part its just sequels on aging hardware. Last of Us and Watch_Dogs look good, as does Pikmin 3 and Nintendoland for the kiddy side of me but for the most part as a PC gamer it doesn't make me want to go out and but a console of any sort at the moment.

Now, if only the Diablo 3 servers would come back up.

So I didn't understand what was the mechanics behind Watch Dog.  Everyone was complimenting on how great it looked but in the demo video I simply saw them running the GTA IV engine in a more tactical way to execute a target.

What do they mean by "everything is connected"?
